Welcome Message
Hello and welcome! I’m Sarah, a Registered Psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with over 12 years of experience in mental health. I genuinely enjoy supporting people as they navigate life’s challenges, and I am also passionate about guiding therapists as they grow in confidence and skill. Over the years, I’ve worked in both EAP and private practice settings, which has given me a broad perspective on supporting people in ways that feel meaningful, practical, and personal.
When you work with me as a client, my goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, welcoming, and collaborative space. I draw on a mix of client-centred and solution-focused approaches, trauma-informed care, CBT, and narrative therapy. I love helping people explore the stories they tell about themselves and their experiences and find ways to shift the parts that might be holding them back. At the same time, I focus on practical tools and strategies that you can use in your day-to-day life. I want therapy to feel helpful, relatable, and empowering, and I’ll work with you at a pace that feels comfortable. My approach is warm, engaging, and encouraging, and I truly enjoy seeing people gain clarity, grow, and feel more confident in themselves.
In my work as a clinical supervisor, I aim to create the same kind of supportive and collaborative environment for therapists. Supervision is a partnership where you can feel challenged, guided, and encouraged as you develop your skills, find your unique voice in practice, and grow in confidence. I enjoy helping therapists navigate the complexities of clinical work while also making space for reflection, creativity, and professional growth.
I want our time together to feel like a steady, supportive pause in your week; a place where you can explore, gain perspective, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re coming in as a client or a therapist, my hope is that you leave our sessions feeling clearer, more grounded, and genuinely encouraged about the path ahead.
